VLC Remote Pro! App Reviews

The interface in version 6.00 is much improved over the old one. I have tried other remotes and this one is by far the best.

I was excited to see an update for this app. And I updated and now I cant even open the app. Please look into this problem.

This app went from good to great with the recent redesign.

I cannot connect to my pc. I clicked on help and followed the help but all the info on their website is useless and doesnt help. nothing even works on their website all the links that are supposed to help dont work. save your money

It would be nice to be able to get a universal app for $5. $10 for iPhone and iPad versions? No way!

Being able to browse your computers folders from your phone and play movies is great. Plus you can control all the features you will ever need to use such as subtitles , equalizer , Aspect ratio , etc.....

Everything i have is on my server, since the update I cant get to it with the new browser!

Developer listened to my complaint and changed the app from iPhone only to universal for free. That deserves 5 stars alone.

Probably the most useful iPhone app Ive come across. Great tool !

The quality of this app is amazing - the developer had inserted nearly all of the functionality of VLC. Playback speed? Audio track time adjustments? Equalizer? Subtitles? Check, check, check, check. I wish every app replacing traditional desktop functionality was as well thought out and executed as this. Brilliant.

Very Nice app... But why not include external hard drive on the local reseau? All my movie is on my wi-fi!!!

Worked great for a while then just stopped working altogether, shame.

VLC Player combined with the VLC Remote is absolutely the best combination for video playback. Im running VLC on a 27" iMac, and I play all my video on the Mac. Using the VLC Remote on my iPhone allows me every function I could want on a remote.

Everything is great except for it cant pull from my NAS. Fix this and itll be awesome!!

I use VLC as my only video player on the computer that runs my big screen in the living room. VLC is the only media player that you need. This app is the PERFECT compliment for VLC! I completely control my video needs from my iPad. Very slick! And, to top it off, Rob (app developer) got back to me asap when I had an issue with my recent upgrade to windows 7. And, FYI, I have no issues writing bad reviews, there just isnt anything bad about this app. $2 bucks well spent!

This app requires an Internet connection to function with VLC. My ISP went down this weekend. bored, I fired up VLC and opened the app. On selecting my computer I was prompted with a message saying the app requires a working Internet connection. Why does an app used to control VLC on a computer require a connection to an ISP? That is ridiculous.

The app crashes as soon as I try and connect to my Library. Please fix this.

Works flawlessly had it over 2 years highly recommend it
